Art is an idea. Art is freedom. Art is a concept. Art is a market. The artist his servant. The gallery owner his bloodsucker. The curator is not an artist. Or so. At the latest when art leaves the studio, it is subject to the conventions. There are rules of the game. Everyone knows them, everyone tries to play along and everyone is against it. Where there are rules, there are interpretations. Where there are interpretations, a tutorial can help. Conceived as an exhibition series, Curatorial satirizes the rules of the game, emerges and hopefully reappears. Curatorial Part Uno begins on the curator's field.
